Father Anthony Baba

Father Anthony Baba was appointed as the Pastor/Priest of Saint Anthony Orthodox Christian Church on April 12, 2010. Prior to his assignment, Father Anthony served as Youth Director for St. George Cathedral in Wichita, Kansas for four years.

A native Texan, Father Anthony was born in Houston and raised in the Orthodox Christian faith. He graduated from Aldine Eisenhower High School in 1998, then received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston in 2003 before attending Holy Cross Orthodox School of Theology in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated with his Masters of Divinity in 2006.

On November 29, 2009, Father Anthony was ordained as a Deacon at St. George Cathedral and on March 21, 2010, His Grace Bishop BASIL of Wichita ordained him as Priest at the parish where he grew in his faith, St. George Orthodox Church in Houston.

Father Anthony and his Khourieh, Ramia were married in 2008 and have two beautiful daughters
